Da Front Porch Association and Da Front Porch Radio, LLC are owned and operated by Hurshel Victor Ricks II, respectively known as Da Front Porch. His professional entertainment career began with Coreleone Records, LLC in 2008 as the Vice President of Operations and a recording /performing artist. As a Creative Writer for Entertainment, Da Front Porch lives his life through media communications interviewing, promoting, marketing and advertising original creativity while attending Full Sail University as a remote student. 

Da Front Porch is partnered with Family Always Matters, LLC, 88.7 Da Blaze FM (Miami) Bricksquad Monopoly DJS, StraightOfficial.com, Juice In Da City Magazine, Coast2Coast, Playlisting Company and many more independent and major entertainment companies as well as organizations such as the Herbert Henderson Office of Human Affairs based in Charleston, West Virginia.

Da Front Porch was born at Eglen Air Force Base in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida on June 22, 1982. His mother is from Miami, Florida and his father was raised in Atlanta, Georgia so Da Front Porch has a southern soul. He is a natural born leader. As an Air Force kid he was able to experience living in Merced, California, Athens, Greece, Instanbul, Turkey and Germany before landing in Homestead Air Force base in Miami, Florida. He went to grade school in both Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida. He graduated high school in 2000 with honors and was the ARMY JROTC Battalion Commander in his junior year. His senior year, Da Front Porch put his focus towards medicine and was chosen to take part in an Executive Internship Program. Weeks later he was working in the Pharmacy Department at Memorial Regional Hospital and Joe Dimaggio Children's Hosptial for the Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida. He then went to Broward College (FL) and Tallahassee Community College (FL) and Hagerstown Community College (MD). He attained his Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment and a Digital Marketing Certificate from Full Sail University. He has one daughter, Tany'Jah Hurshae Ricks.

Da Front Porch has lived in the Eastern Panhandle in Martinsburg, West Virginia, one hour west of Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland since 2003 but stayed active with media in South Florida until the pandemic hit. During the pandemic he was contracted as a hiring specialist for distribution centers, Amazon and Macy's in West Virginia and Maryland. He was able to assist in the employment of 1000's in the Eastern Panhandle during the pandemic using his expertise in communication skills and computer skills with his passion to help people. He also assisted in projects with Loudon County Public Schools (VA), Berkeley County Public Schools (WV) and NESCORP.

Even the July 20th, 2007, car accident that ejected Da Front Porch out of a vehicle could not stop him from living his life. He had to come back to life three times. He was also placed in a medically induced coma due to being a victim of a drunk driver. The traumatic brain injury, neck and back pains combined with his internal injuries and the reconstructive oral surgery was a major life changer that opened up many more doors and opportunities for him.

Da Front Porch also lives with Trigeminal Neuralgia. 10 out of every 100,000 people in the United States live with trigeminal neuralgia. Every day is a new day to him, and Da Front Porch wants to be able to share his story and other's stories with the world.

On October 3rd. 2021, Da Front Porch's fiancé and love, Natasha "Lady Tee" Nyla Cause, passed away in her sleep the morning of their wedding day. They were in a relationship for 5 years. She was 24 years old and the mother of two girls.

Depression and drugs became rampant and overwhelming in his life. Da Front Porch had to give his life back to God and knew it was time to start Changing The Channel. He decided that on November 11th, 2022, that he was just tired of living that life so he checked himself into detox and then a long-term substance abuse program in Beckley, West Virginia, where he currently resides. Da Front Porch released his book Changing The Channel, respectively by Hurshel V. Ricks II on February 26th, 2023 one week after completing the rehabilitation program. 

Since living in Southern-West Virginia, Da Front Porch has performed and covered media at the 2023 and 2024 WV Juneteenth Celebration at the State Capitol, 2024 Beckley Juneteenth Event and the 2023-2024 Roc The Mic Spoken Word Events also in Beckley, West Virginia. 

Da Front Porch Association interviews interesting people with original creativity and positive vibes. Da Front Porch has written articles and interviews for print, digital and radio. Some of his published work has been on Yahoo! Contributors, Tip Drill Magazine and XXL Magazine. He is also a music critic for digiwaxx.com as well as owns and operates Da Front Porch Radio. Da Front Porch is a member of the Writer's Guild of the East, ASCAP and BMI. Da Front Porch Music can be streamed on all major platforms.

With filming and video production under his belt, Da Front Porch is an accredited screen writer. The short film, "GUILT" was viewed at the American Black Film Festival. Da Front Porch is an accredited writer for music videos, short films, biographies, and editorials. 

Da Front Porch supports indie and up and coming artists and has also covered events with his media credentials including platinum recording artists and groups such as Rick Ross, Lil Scrappy, French Montana, Flo Rida, Meek Mill, Pretty Ricky, JT Money and a host of others. Da Front Porch is also a professional photographer, videographer specializing in the Behind-The-Scenes at public and private events.
