Hurshel Victor Ricks II, professionally known as Da Front Porch, is a multimedia entrepreneur, writer, radio personality, filmmaker, photographer, recording artist, and storyteller dedicated to amplifying original creativity.

His entertainment career began in 2008 with Coreleone Records, where he served as Vice President of Operations and a recording artist. Today, he is the founder of Da Front Porch Association and owner/operator of Da Front Porch Radio, LLC, an independent media platform supporting emerging artists while connecting music, culture, entertainment, and community.

Throughout his career, Da Front Porch has interviewed, photographed, promoted, and covered artists and events featuring names including Rick Ross, French Montana, Flo Rida, Meek Mill, Lil Scrappy, Pretty Ricky, JT Money, and more. His creative work extends across radio, journalism, digital marketing, photography, videography, music, screenwriting, film, biographies, and editorial content.

A Full Sail University graduate with a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment and a Digital Marketing certificate, Da Front Porch combines professional experience with a lifelong passion for communication and storytelling.

His story is also one of resilience. After surviving a devastating 2007 automobile accident and later experiencing life-changing personal loss, he transformed some of his hardest chapters into purpose. That journey inspired his 2023 book, Changing The Channel, centered on growth, accountability, survival, and choosing a new direction.

Today, Da Front Porch continues building a multimedia platform where independent voices can be heard and meaningful stories can be told.
