How Caresha Brownlee reminded the culture that Yung Miami still knows how to make the whole world move.

It was 1:34 in the morning on April 24 when my phone lit up with a notification that Yung Miami had dropped a new song.

Without hesitation, I pressed play.

Before the hook was even over, I called my business partner, Trini Babii of KDY Media. She was in Houston while I was in the DMV, but we both knew we were hearing something different.

"This one got it."

A few hours later, Trini stepped into a club in Houston.

What was the DJ playing?

"Spend Dat."

At that moment, we both knew Yung Miami had something special.

Now it's three months later, and the record has only gotten bigger. Whether you're scrolling social media, riding through Miami, hearing it in the club, or watching women quote the lyrics online, one thing has become clear:
