TAJ ALEXANDHER: SELF LOVE

My name is Taj AlexandHer. I am from Easton, MD which is a small town on the Eastern Shore. My blog started because I grew tired of the status quo. It seems like the world is full of bullies, terrorists, and miserable people who think that they're better than the next person so they seek to destroy lives. In my experience, I've never met a perfect person in my life, yet most of us are very violent and critical. I think we all could use some help.

My blog is more of a reminder that anyone can tap into their true potential and make something special out of their lives. It's also about how I went from hating myself to loving myself. I do hip hop music and spoken word to express myself. Also, I have been working on my first book which will be released later this year. I am also co-owner of a cleaning business which is growing like a weed plant in the summer time. In my community I'd like to eliminate the stereotypes of the youth being constantly led a stray, locked up and killed for petty reasons. I think we need more scholars, doctors, scientists, and entrepreneurs in the hood.

 Living in the DMV is very multicultural. People from all around the world come here to live and visit. It opens up my perception to the different rituals of different tribes the world has to offer.

In my eyes, success is getting what you want out of life. Whether you want to get/give a laugh, a phone number, some sex, some money, etc. Whatever you set out to do and you achieve it is success. No matter how big or small your goal is, once you've captured that, you can celebrate and move on to your next goal. 

A hustler is someone who is willing to do what it takes to get the results they want. Most people think a hustler is just a drug dealer and that's a false perception. A hustler can be the lady on the treadmill at the gym who's jogging that extra mile just so she can boost the results she wants. I think a hustler is all about continuous growth and results.
