1. What is your name and what name do you like to go by?My
name is Eryn Marie Jones & I go by Ryn Jo Yuniverse or Ballaerena.
Ryn Jo is a shortening of my first and last name e(Ryn Jo)nes & I
always wanted to be a ballerina ever since I was a child, that's why I
call myself that, just with different spelling. It's really a 3-part
meaning, one being an actual poised & balanced woman, a ballerina,
another is balling out, and creating abundance. And lastly Erena is my
name in Russian, which is one of my favorite foreign languages aside
from Arabic, Latin and Mandarin. Ballaerena is my rough tough, sexy
side, it's much more focused on music and connecting to my audience. RJY
is a universal version of myself, accessing the limitless side of life,
from cover songs, vlogs, how to videos, dancing videos, fashion &
whatever I put my mind to, it's what I created so people can get to know
me and all of my exterior talents. And my real name will be used in
extremely personal expressions of myself.
2. Where are you from and what is your ethnicity like?
I
was raised from birth in a small town by the name of Temple Hills in
the state of MD. So yea, I'm from the infamous "DMV" lol - I am not
fully aware of everything that I'm mixed with but I know I'm grouped
into the "black category". Sadly that's not an actual race or
genetically correct reference. I know for a fact that I am a Black Foot
Native American as well as Cherokee, but closer to my Black Foot roots
& every blue moon I talk to some people from my tribe in Montana (:
I'm hoping to get my DNA tested soon to find out more! I'm tired of
Ethiopians and Koreans thinking I'm their race and I can't tell them if I
am or not lol
3. What is it like living a week in your shoes!
FUCKING
COMPLEX AS FUCK. I am mindful to a fault! I care about everyone and its
insinctual. I have too much integrity to conform to my peers idea of
"cool" I have to be a leader, innovator, crusader! It's something inside
of my consciousness that won't allow me to just be that girl who gains
confidence from followers and Instagram likes. I work hard to become a
better person daily. And that means literally killing myself by ignoring
my base desires and rising above them, become a new person every single
day. Saying good bye to a friend daily. Saying good bye to a
unsustainable habit, daily. White washing the old me, daily.
4. Why do you like blogging?
I
blog to leave mental bread crumbs for myself and others. I always told
myself, if I was going to change my life for the better, I would write
my footsteps so that all those behind me, could follow my lead if they
so chose to. I have mentally led myself through depression &
suicidal thoughts, being bullied & teased, falling out of love,
falling in love, self love & acceptance, dealing with people who
don't vibrate as high as me, etc. this society needs deep emotional and
mental care & upliftment terribly. Why not be a contributor to the
healing of my people?
5. What does hip hop mean to you?
Hip
hop is the expression of feelings in rhythmic sound. Hip hop is the
collective diary of the youth. It's our signature expressed through
sound, containing our pain, our joy, what makes us feel caged & what
makes us feel free. It's a place where the damaged souls go to scream,
cry, heal, rage & beyond just simply to express & grow. Hip hop
is the foundation of American youth today. It's a magnet made of rawness
that pulls in the vulnerable and gives them a home. It's my safe place
of expression & feedback.
6. What are your entertainment and personal goals for 2016?
My
personal goals for 2016 is to release my first official album on
iTunes, create an official website for my blog, start a non-profit
charity and to get my art in some sort of gallery! (Oh & get a
bigger booty, so when they compare me and a regular regular "badd bitch"
I will immediately raise the standard of what "badd" is because my
brain far outweigh my looks and these vain females won't see what hit em
lol) lol I'm so sick of these females tricking our men into thinking a
"real woman" is measured by looks, Internet presence and designer gear.

7. How can people check out your work and contact you on social media?Well,
I change my pages a lot. But for the sake of those interested in my
work, I will stay under 3 names. Ballaerena & Ryn Jo YUNIVERSE for
music (2 very different sounds) and my government Eryn Marie Jones, for a
auto biographic novel/memoir I am writing, filled with quotes and
better worded versions of some of my blog posts. RJY will also be the
name I use for cover songs mostly and vlogs, hence YUNIVERSE. It's a
name that compiles the many different sides of me.
My

official Instagram in June. My soundcloud is Rynjojojo currently, but I
will likely change it soon, so it is best to add me on Twitter so that

8. What is success to you?Success is love. Love is success.
9. Why is it important to hustle?
Hustle
shows that you know you can get whatever you're willing to work for. It
teaches people the value of what they get because of how hard they have
to work for it. Hustle is what generates fuel for you to continue the
next day because of how proud you are about what you hustled for the day
before. It builds confidence in your self and removes your inhibitions
and mental conditions that lead you to believe you "need" people.
10. Any last words or shoutouts?
I
want to shout out my son Namir (: I love you baby, forever and always,
through out eternity and back! I know you're going to be a star & my
heart is always with you, my amazing black King.
My
besties Jasmine & Brandee!!!!!! They know everything about me. They
are stuck with me... Well that's how they fuck with me ;)
Also
my cousins London Zhiloh & Donibe who inspire me daily ! Also my
cousins I recently reunited with Reeno and Nick who I will for sure be
featuring on my blogs! When I tell you Reeno and Nick are lyrical flow
beasts.... Broooooooo.... Just wait on it America!
I
want to shout out my ex Yung Gleesh for showing me how cold the world
can be even when you give all your love to it. He will probably never
admit to it lol but fuck that guy
I want to shout out Boogie Snow, Lizzle, Freakshow, Lil Chris from thraxxx. They believed in my music before I ever could.
I want to also shout out my parents for making and building up such an amazing me.

11. How old are you and what is your zodiac?
I am 22(93 baby!), I will be 23(jump man year) on September 12th.
I am a Virgo but if you add the 13th I think it says I'm a Leo? Lol
ummmmmmm I'm not the same I am a Martian on the low, God can make me
seem like many different signs. Many people think I'm a Scorpio or a
Libra.
