What is your name? My full name is Alba Nelly Rodriguez.

Can you tell us about where you are from and where you are now? I come from a very small town in Tamaulipas Mexico, but I’ve lived in WA & ID. I’d consider where I am originally from to be similar to the slums but that’s just my perspective on it.

How did you get into modeling? It all began at a small coffee shop in WA. I was a bikini barista but locals would ask for photo shoots with their cars & motorcycles! I thought to myself, “hey I could do this for a living.” I’ve always been destined for something bigger than life, I am creative, spontaneous and I took acting all throughout high school. I’ve always wanted to be part of the entertainment biz.. It’s so alluring and calling me.

How do you brand yourself? I think it is really important to take the time to engage and have conversations with people who go out of their way to support me, and that is how I brand myself.

How important is to you that you are respected in this business? Being respected is a must! If people don’t respect me or take me seriously, it makes me want to hustle harder!

How can people reach you online? Online, I use twitter @ Ninaforeign, instagram @ NinaForeign, facebook @ninaforeignmodel, and snapchat @ Ninaforeignnf.

What do you want to see changed in your community? Legalize it

What is a hustler? I am a Diva baby like Beyonce says, “Diva is a female version of a hustler.” A hustler is someone with ambition. Someone who will work for it and do what it takes to make this paper.

What was a hard lesson you had to learn from this business? Something I’ve learned while in the biz. Is that not everyone is going to like me. But I wasn’t made for every one, nah I am too wavy.

Any shout outs? !Shout out to my supporters! <3
