D’Ciple Da Lieutenant has made a choice. This choice is not only with music but also with life. Each step he takes and every bar he uses to grab that attention of listeners, D’Ciple says that God gave him his gift. He is a gospel emcee from Capron, Virginia and his  E.P/ Mixtape N.V.O.T.G is one of a kind.

 

D’Ciple and I bumped into each other around 7 am at Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta, GA. He is on a mission to let the world know that a person can be a believer and still be considered as cool. In 2005, D’Ciple gave his life over and the Lord has directed him ever since after having hard times with finances and personal relationships.

 

This faithful emcee admits that one day he fell on his knees and prayed about his music. His friends had told him not to quit his music only because he was following the ministry. People that were close to him seen his gift.  After he prayed, D’Ciple said the Lord blessed him with the lyrics to touch people.“I’m Not Perfect,” is a very relatable, self-explanatory song that expresses how Christians struggle all the time.
